Permits
Every City Here Runs It Differently
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Bristol County, MA?
For a driveway, generally not. For the street, yes, and these cities route it to genuinely different departments. Fall River handles it through the Traffic Department and wants the container owner named on the box. Taunton lets any police officer order one moved. New Bedford requires the load stays contained. Your city’s page has the detail.
